Volunteers needed! – Church Action on Poverty

The church movement of poverty on Sunday is our main opportunity for funding in churches in England. It is very important to activate more people to redeem the money, dignity, agency and strength we grow high.

This year, on October 19, we move the church movement in the poverty market for the beginning A Poverty Week in England and Wales.

We have a very small staff team. A small volunteer can help us reach more churches for this main event and can have a bigger impact. Can you help?

The churches and supporters at the event prepared telephone conversations in June 2025 and in July, we can help register the churches and supporters of the incident.

  • Phone on a number of contacts on a list given to our database
  • Speak about every contact of every contact in connection with the other ways that the churches may be shared with us and churches
  • To record answers in a simple online form

You will need …

  • Ability to speak with confident telephone order and politely and clearly
  • To attend confidence, fundraising activities to ask people and give obligations on behalf of their church
  • Some acquaintances with the church movement and sympathy for our vision and values ​​on poverty
  • A phone with a well-setting phone and a large number of phone calls to make a single call time
  • A computer or tablet and internet connection
  • To offer at least 20 hours – you can repeatedly match the calls to you

We will provide …

  • An online training session to explain the process
  • A script and instruction set to help make calls
  • To get an online form to record the contacts list and answers

All volunteers will be required to read and stay in the policy of privacy and data protection in poverty privacy and data protection policy before accessing confidential contact information for supporters.
