Do you! I am Skogström Feldt and share a little summer reflections based on my leadership experience IKEA Social Entrepreneurship. A journey we started in this space, our journey, which we started with social enterprises to create jobs in this space, the most needed areas in this area. Thirteen years later, the same soul continues to form our work.

Today, we are proud to partner with social enterprises to create collections Mävinn, We also support more than 100 social enterprises in various places such as India, Poland, Chile, Indonesia and Sweden. As we looked forward, I go back to the question of my return: how does it keep a deep man and a systematic action?

Why Social Entrepreneurs are more important than ever

Place for the balance of social entrepreneurship outside of charity and work. When the tempti grows over the years, you have a very real risk to lose its place. The government’s priorities are changing, focusing is scattered and there is no need for social innovation.

Social Entrepreneurs are not doing only; They are system thinkers, community builders and catalysts to access. They work in the middle of the society, which creates better daily life for people from the middle, sensitive and marginalized groups. And they do it with frequent recognizable and supported limited resources.

Now we are all time to take steps by all of us, governments, corporations, financial society, civil society, urgently, empathy and practical means. We must continue to burn the movement when focusing on working together to measure the results and a blow and avoid the mission slip.

This means a mentality turn that accepts everyone as a more mixed capital, strong networks, better market access and social entrepreneurship charity.

Round society needs inclusive solutions

For example, take a rounded economy. Insulated Technical Solutions – This is a re-designing – there is a growing recognition that often causes new, fragmented challenges. We must also apply in social dimension. Unofficial waste workers play a key role in circular systems, but often excluded from official strategies.

We supported It identifies unofficial waste workers and other sensitive groups such as key players of the circular economy, Emphasizes the decisive role of social entrepreneursand the company and governments stressed the need for corporations and governments to demand renewable materials and circular products with a scale.

Sustainability in IKEA is the center of our business and we want to be a good force for people, society and planet. We are working hard to connect our sustainability to all aspects of our work and consider social entrepreneurs as a vital innovator and a contributor – both working as business partners and involve employees.

Leadership for system change

Real Transformation requires more than new models. Requires new thoughts. I often apply Internal development goalsA frame that helps you understand the personal opportunities needed to achieve the UN sustainable development goals. These include empathy, cooperation, openness and courage.

It is a book that affects my mind Teal Trust Transparency by Alicia and Rolf Medina. Leadership with self-organization and trust is a thoughtful guide. And if you are interested in psychological safety, if it is an important substance for innovation article It’s a great place to get started.

What is the next: Scaled effect in Sweden and beyond

IKEA continues to invest in the development of social entrepreneurship, inclusive employment, comprehensive circular and inclusive agriculture and meals. Now we have programs and counts in 20 countries.

One of our latest initiatives brings us a complete circle for Sweden and again returns to the origin of IKEA. We have launched a new three-year program to support local social entrepreneurs, accessible to change. With the support of Sweden with the support of Sweden, we support Sweden’s social enterprise sector, support 22 innovative changes, including 22 innovative changes and improving the welfare of sensitive and marginalized communities across the country. Although our challenges are global, the solutions must be in-depth locals.

Swedish speech, we will be Blow Week in Europe Malmö In November. As well as we will attend Thoughts of influence in Medellín and Social Enterprise World Forum in Taipei. We would like to learn from each other and contact you to build a cross-sector partnership, which is continuing a pace and continuing real progress. Because a more comprehensive, round and compassionate future is not only possible – it is already built by social entrepreneurs around the world.
